Litigation and Dispute Resolution

When an individual or company faces litigation, whether as a plaintiff or as a defendant, they must consider a number of factors, including: costs, benefits, and other risks that are likely to have a significant impact. For business clients this can be a significant impact on the company’s bottom line. Monetary recovery or exposure, the level of litigation expenses, and the effect off potential court decisions or orders can have a significant impact. We regularly represent clients in proceedings in Washington State and federal courts, as well as in proceedings before other administrative and regulatory agencies.
We have handled cases ranging from the relatively simple to the complex, involving such issues as: domestic relations, employment contracts, supply contracts, corporate governance, real estate, trespass and adverse possession, and personal injury.
We offer various legal assessments, including risk assessments, to provide our clients with an evaluation of the risks and costs associated with the litigation under consideration. When appropriate, we assist clients in resolving disputes through arbitration, mediation, and other cost-saving alternative dispute resolution methods.
